I Am Not Ashamed of Christ or Anything, in His Word

I will not sit idle and silent while the Word of my Lord and Savior is desecrated or blasphemed by anyone, I care not the who or gender. Many commit this perhaps out of ignorance but that still does not justify or excuse the offenses.

 

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

 

When the very foundational message that is taught from scripture is belittled by those that seek something that is not theirs or latitude is given by weak men with a cultural influence or a domineering wife, I say repent for you are in sin. For to preach is to expound upon and be the audible voice of God. The Word of God is to be held in reverence and awe, not to be clanged like a noisy gong. As a Herald of the gospel, you are to represent Christ in ever aspect, manner and thinking in your life. This is not confined to inside the walls of a building you call church, for the church is the assembly of believers, the saved ones from past, present and future. Or do you not think those that have departed and went on ahead are not still members of the church, which is the body of Christ.

 

Do you know that many an abandoned building that once was a place of sin is now called a church by an assembly of believers. Many an empty tomb littered throughout the United Kingdom are now museums or mosque that once held the label church.

 

Do you still consider these as Holy ground. Is it not the Roman Catholics that consecrate buildings and objects instead of considering the very Word of God the thing which should be considered sacred above all else.

 

I will not argue with those that disagree but will teach from scripture, about scripture, to point to the truths in scripture. If you don't agree with my findings, please only respond with what scripture says. I could care less about your opinion, or my own for that matter. I only care what scripture truly teaches.

 

I can no longer be concerned whether the truths in the Bible are areas that anyone or any culture are not ready to face or admit. I am not ashamed of Christ or anything in His Word. There have been far too many compromises and velvet mouthed coatings of truth by today's evangelicals already.
